Hi Everyone!
LG AI Talent Relations Team is back with the hottest update for the very last week of October!
We had countless events throughout the month of October and out of those events, we participated in the very first Yonsei AI Workshop!
For the very first time, Yonsei University held an AI Workshop this year. To see what this is all about, the Talent Relations Team participated in this event along with some of our researchers. Shall we go check it out?!?!?
The workshop showcased AI technologies researched by the graduate and undergraduate students at the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence Convergence at Yonsei University. It was an event that opened a window of communication between students and companies by sharing research in the related fields. There was also an opportunity interact with all the students regarding their research to see if they would be a fit at LG AI Research.
The morning session kicked off with brief introduction presentations from all the participating companies!
From LG AI Research, the lab leader of the Applied Research AI Lab, Woohyung Lim gave a presentation regarding our ongoing research progress, work environment and our companyโs culture!
(Woohyung always gives such amazing presentations - thank you always! )
Unlike the AIIS retreat by the Seoul National University, for Yonsei Universityโs AI Workshop, the posters from the companies and students were posted until the end of the event so people can come by and take a look according to their personal schedule. It was a very new approach for us because we were so used to having two poster sessions with different presenters each session!
Lastly, recruitment booths were open all day!
This was our very first time vising Yonsei University for a recruitment event so it was very nice to see all the new and familiar faces in person! It was also a very meaningful and informative time for us as so many students showed interest in our company and research.
(Lovely Yumi from the Talent Relations Team!)
LG AI Research actively communicates with students through academia events!
We look forward to seeing what the rest of this year holds for LG AI Research!
